About Shiro Overland
At Shiro Overland we have ultimate respect for what brought you here in the first place, Enjoying Outside.
We are a small, family run company. Fueled by our love of laying down powder turns on our skis, traversing switchbacks on our mountain bikes and letting the fire burn down while staring at the infinite view of stars in our outdoor living room. We wanted to spend time together outside doing the things we love in the most beautiful locations we could find. We wanted to go further, stay out longer and get off the beaten path.
We created Shiro Overland to do those things, we created Shiro Overland to live our best lives together.
Brett Uyeshiro
Brett is a life long builder and lover of the outdoors. He started Shiro Overland to bring these two passions together.
Brett spent 20+ years in the tech industry building internet products & services. Most of his tech career was spent at Pandora where he was most recently VP of Personalization. He built the first Pandora app on Android and helped Pandora scale to millions of users.
In addition to his experience in tech, he has always enjoyed side projects - home remodeling, bicycle frame building and most recently building out an overland camper.
Courtney Uyeshiro
Courtney heads up our Social Media, marketing and client outreach. She lends a hand wherever needed, especially for the final touches.
Staging and marketing a camper comes naturally to Courtney, who spends her days deep in the marketing world for a top COMPASS Boulder real estate group, Higgins Kalush Collective.
A few years back Courtney and Brett remodeled a 1970's home in the hills of Boulder. The pursuit of functional design became a passion for Courtney. With four kids and a pup, every room needed to feel open, pull the outside in and most importantly, function well for busy days.
She and Brett are committed to using the same functional design principles when creating Shiro Overland campers.
